Thank you to Dean Walker for these photos and story

My grandfather on my mothers side was Ken Rodger, who is pictured in these photos. The medals were awarded to him for club events, The Presidents Fours and Parrants Pairs. Russell was unable to throw any light on the Parrants Pairs, as there appeared to be no record of this event on the club honours board, but maybe you have other information?

The medal dated 1921 titled on the reverse as Collett Fours appears to be related to the 1922 Presidents Fours, as evidenced by the photo dated 1922. Ken Rodger was not in the winning Presidents Fours crew, which is evidenced in your archive photos for 1921. In the photo of the fours crew on the water the names of the crew have been hand written on the back on the original mounted photo, excluding the name of the cox. They are from L to R - K Rodger, A Hickson, A Warden, A White. Regards. Dean Walker
