Kirsty Ferguson joined the Petone Rowing Club in 1997. In the short time since joining the PRC, Kirsty has stamped her name into the club history books with two very significant achievements. Firstly Kirsty become the first woman Club Captain at PRC in 2000. Secondly Kirsty has become the first and only PRC woman member to date to represent New Zealand internationally, (as a year 2000 NZ Universities Representative in the NZ v/s Australian Universities, in Melbourne. |

NZ Universities Representative 2000, 2001, 2002 - Women's Lwt Quad (1st 2001, 2002) NZ Development Squad 2002 - Women's Lwt 1x (1st, Div 2), Women's Lwt 2x (1st, Div 1), Women's Lwt 4x (1st, Div 1) NZ Elite Triallist - 2003, 2004 North Island Champs - Women's Lwt 1x (1st, 2002), Women's Sen 2x (3rd - 2002; 2nd - 2003, 2004), Women's Sen 1x (2nd, 2004) NZ Champs - Women's Novice 4+ (1st, 1998), Women's Lwt 1x (2nd - 2002,2004; 3rd - 2001, 2003) NZ University Games - Women's Int 8+ (1st, 1999; 2nd, 2000), Women's Int 4+ (3rd, 1999; 2nd, 2000), Women's Championship 4+ (3rd, 1999), Women's Championship 1x (1st, 2001; 2nd, 2002), Women's Championship 2x (1st, 2001; 3rd, 2002), Women's Intermediate 4x+ (3rd - 2001, 2002) Kirsty is still an active member at Petone, rowing, and mentoring he fellow squad members. Outside of the Petone Rowing Club Kirsty's occupation is Senior Resource Advisor, Greater Wellington Regional Council (2001 - ) and also Extramural Student at Massey University studying BBS (Sport Management & Coaching) (1999 - ).
