Ron Blandford joined the Petone Rowing Club in 1954, and was
an active member of the PRC until the year 2000.

Ron was honoured with a life membership at the PRC in 19xx,
for his enduring dedication to administration needs of the club.

Over the years Ron has provided significant assistance to the club in the areas of Club Accountant and Historian.

Arguably, Ron Blandford is one of one of the true remaining gentlemen in the Petone district, his manner, communication, professionalism, and dedidication to his peers is second to none. 
Ron has provided the strongest commitment and support to the club throughout
his near 50 years involvement.
